AB  - The topic of the study is to ask several questions that ask about the situation of contemporary literary criticism. The context of literary criticism of the 19th century is also used to analyze the current state, only sketched in this study, again only in selected texts. The purpose is to seek answers to the relationship between literary criticism and literary science. The author of the study asks whether there are professional meetings that are based on critical work. In his opinion, one such meeting is the annual meeting in Olomouc called "Price Balance".
